Testimonials

CI Mims“Redmond Regional Medical Center and Rome were appealing to me because of the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. Redmond offered the chance to be one of the first residents to help in creating a groundbreaking program and the opportunity to grow into a well-rounded practitioner.”
~ Lauren Mims, DO, PGY-1 Resident

CI Talat“In addition to being greeted so warmly by the friendly Rome community, I was greatly impressed by the pride with which people declared their affiliations to Redmond Regional Medical Center.  Dr. Robitshek’s mission to inspire the highest level of intellectual curiosity and excellence, as well as the faculty’s support and enthusiasm for teaching make this an ideal institution to learn. Our collective goal of providing the most compassionate and exceptional care make this an ideal institution to grow as a physician.  After just my first week of training, I’m proud to be a new member of the Redmond and Rome communities!”
~ Zubda Talat, MD – PGY-1 Resident

CI Hans” From the moment I interviewed I knew this would be the right place for me because everyone was a family. All the staff made me feel more than welcome and at home – even the hotel where I was staying. Once I moved here I knew I made the right choice!”
~ Gurkamal Hans, MD, PGY-1 Resident

Why CI KhalilRome?
“The nature. I love hiking, kayaking, and have always wanted to try fishing and camping. I used to come to the Blue Ridge Mountains with my family in the winters for a few days to stay in the cabins, and I always appreciated the untouched beauty of NW GA. When I saw that I could enjoy a piece of that on my days off while working at Redmond, I knew I would enjoy being here. I can’t wait to hike through NW GA and see how many trails I can experience before the end of residency. Not to mention how friendly, polite and helpful everyone is here; it’s refreshing. The smaller town feel of Rome is something one can really appreciate as you mature and settle down.”
